We have displayed her with a standard doll house desk and chair for scale purposes and they are sold separately in our shop. The artist signed the doll and dated it 1996. She also wears a white slip and pantaloons trimmed in lace. She has black painted hair with rows of curls and a center part. Her face is painted beautifully with large piercing eyes, a sweet pug nose and feathered eyebrows. The doll artist who created this Hitty did a wonderful job in crafting this all wooden doll with jointed limbs and dressing her in a cotton dress in a soft neutral calico print. It also inspired doll artists to create their own rendition of Hitty.
